Knit-Along!
It's determined the KAL will begin July 15, therefore if you are interested, these next two weeks is the time for you to come in and sign up. We will have loads of fun as ususal. Most of you have decided to use the Fantasy Linen in the same color way which will make it a true knit along!
Here's The Latest
Things have been hectic here at Nonnas. New yarns new projects, finishing old projects. Yep I've been kinda preoccupied.
Let me just bring you up to date with the goings on!

You remember Karen. Karen just finished this shawl knitted with TSC Ritratto the pattern is from the book Modular Knits by Iris Schreier. I love this pattern it sit on your shoulders perfectly and its fun to knit. I have knitted 4 for gifts and now Karen is hooked as well.
I just completed this little jacket. It's waiting for buttons which will be in very soon. I enjoyed learning the different technics with this one the collar is added with a 3needle bind off and it has side pockets and bell cuffs. It's short and it's quite cute on a size 6 - 8.
Perfect wear for September/October
I thought this little sack was the most adorable little thing. Here Barbara used our new DK sock yarn & the patterns is from a sublime book.

The Special Event
The head band class was a little low in attendance but it went well. We had a winner who received a bunch of goodies from the Urban Muse and everyone got a goody bag with a coupon of 20% off their next facial with Kim. How cool!
The ladies learned the provision cast on, a simple cable twist plus I-cord edging a very productive class.
I have had request for a repeat class. I guess the timing was not correct. We shall try it again maybe in August. Let me know when. We will take a poll.

Sign ups started for Kimberly's facial class!
We are so excited to host this event and it looks like its going to be a big hit.
the project sample (headband) is displayed at the shop everyone tries it on to see and feel it on. I love it I used it every evening when giving myself a mini facial, which you ladies know you should always do. I will also hand out the pattern for the spongies which we knitted in our knitterjize class. They go hand in hand with the headband.
Also I a almost finished with the hand towel, I knitted with Pure cotton from
Debbie Bliss. It will be a perfect addition to my basket of facial accessories.
AND SHE'S DONE WITH ANOTHER
I love seeing student's accomplishments!
This is Phyllis with her 2nd top down sweater finished. Phyllis used Berroco's Bonsay yarn, soft and cool to the touch.
