Mina's finished masterpiece

My photo taking skills do no justice to this gorgeous sweater that Mina completed. It really is a work of art. Knitted with Berroco's black suede deluxe.

Nickie's latest finished project. Its Debbie's "Como" together with Debbie's "Astrakhan". It literally took Nickie less than two weeks to complete.
As of right now we only are able to combine two colors a brown and a grey.
You have to see it and feel it. It is gorgeous.
A very popular shrug. Knitting loosely does have its advantages. Pattern free with purchase of yarn

One skein gorgeous cast on 10 sts and knit on size 11 till the end. Makes a great scarf/necklace!

Our new class list has been posted in our website. There are a lot of titles for you to choose from. The top down sweater class is already filling up. We might schedule two classes, a weekday and a Saturday. This class consist of you designing your own style of a top down knit sweater. You will choose which ever yarn of any weight and in our first class we shall shape it to our liking and then gauge it. In our second meeting we will have the pattern and begin our sweater.

Also very exciting is that we have Shari teach the crochet mitered square. It is one of Shari published patterns. She will have a sample for us to see at the shop soon.

A small sample of the cable shrug is on my needles. It really is a beautiful cable stitch. and
I am almost finished with the hairpin lace shawl.

Justine's Baby Shower

On Saturday June 14th - I was off (Thank you Nancy and Joy for taking my place). I had my step daughter in law baby shower, who will be having triplets two girls and one boy. I had so much fun knitting and crocheting for the babies. I have to still post the photos of the girl's projects, so stay tuned!

I would love to hear what your favorite projects are for children. Feel free to send me a comment!
